"Oxford is such a meaningful place to me, and I instantly fell in love with the house and its history. My guests loved touring the house and commented on how it was a beautiful place to get married. I cannot stress enough how much I enjoyed working with Kelly, who made sure my day was perfect. Getting married here was magical!"

"The Isom House was the perfect backdrop for our son's wedding reception. The rambling rooms and tasteful decor created the perfect atmosphere for gathering in small groups as well as gathering as one when toasts were made."

"The Isom House is the epitome of southern beauty in architecture and interior design. It served as the perfect venue to host all of our families from near and far, allowing them to experience the beauty of Oxford. Kelly was wonderful to work with, making our ideas come to life! All accommodations were made and she went above and beyond to help me before, during, and after the event.

"I want to express our appreciation for the Isom staff for the incredible evening we were provided. The setting was beautiful, the preparations coordinated with you were seamless, and every detail of your plan came together to make this a memorable occasion for all in attendance, from 18 years to 82. Thank you for going the extra mile to make our event at Isom as if your Home was our Home. "

"When we first planned our event to be held on January 15, 2022 at the Isom Place, it was to be an “engagement party” for our son and his beautiful bride to be, who were getting married on Edisto Island, South Carolina, on April 30. Unfortunately, about three weeks before the party, the Omicron variant of Covid reared its ugly head in Oxford! Since so many of the guests were “older” persons, like us, we felt we had to cancel that party and come up with something different that would not put the health of our guests possibly in danger. There was only a short window of time between then and the wedding, and the bride-to-be had many other “pre-wedding” events already scheduled in South Carolina, where she is from and where her family still lives. With Kelly’s wonderful assistance, we were able to reschedule our event to July 3, and it became a “Meet the Newlyweds Party.” We cannot thank Kelly enough - her assistance and advice - were invaluable. The party was a great success - everyone who attended has had nothing but good things to say to us about the venue! The best thing: our son and his wife and all their friends loved having the party there and had a wonderful time!!"
